THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY TEAM- This is a group of people selected by the Mayor, to discuss issues facing the City of Mt. Vernon. The members talk with other citizens in their neighborhood's about these concerns and come back with ideas and priorities to help with the problems of our town.

POSEY COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION- Th Community Foundation Alliance is a public charity helping individuals, families, businesses and organizations in Southwestern Indiana to meet their charitable goals. www.alliance9.org
