Police Department
The Mount Vernon Police Department is located at 311 College Street near the corner of 4th & College Streets. The department is made up of 14 full-time sworn officers and employs one full time secretary. Anthony Alldredge was appointed Chief of Police in April 2016.

Members of the Mount Vernon Police Department are dedicated to the protection of the lives and property of our citizens.
